Harpist for corporate events, receptions and afternoon teas

I am Anna Phillips, a Royal Academy of Music trained harpist based in Slough, near Windsor. I provide elegant live background music for businesses, hotels and private hosts across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Surrey, Oxfordshire and London.

Events I play

Drinks receptions and networking evenings. Product launches and store events. Client and awards dinners. Christmas parties and carol receptions. Hotel afternoon teas and Sunday brunches. Conference registration and breaks. Private parties, anniversaries and garden parties.

How it works

Most bookings run from one to three hours with short breaks. I play a mix of classical favourites, jazz standards, film and musical theatre themes and pop songs arranged for harp, and I match the volume to the room so conversation flows. I arrive about an hour before guests, and need a level space of about two metres by two metres. I hold public liability insurance and can supply a risk assessment on request.

Prices

Bookings start at £500 for up to 75 minutes of playing, with longer events quoted by the hour. Travel is included within 70 miles of Slough. Central London bookings add the Congestion Charge and parking at cost. Regular monthly bookings, for example a hotel afternoon tea, are priced on a retainer.
